MSNBC, New York Times Make Hit Piece Against YouTuber ET Williams, Possibly Got His Channel Deleted

Just when you think that the mainstream media can’t get any lower, any dirtier, any grimier… they prove you wrong. Every single time. This time is no different. They have attacked conservative YouTuber E.T. Williams. He is very popular on YouTube and claims to have amassed over 200 million views over the course of 8 years. What sparked this whole situation is a writer for the New York Times by the name of Kevin Roose writing an article that centered around him. Not only was the article at hit piece against Williams, it was also a hit piece against people who talk about news on YouTube. Maybe the piece was a hit on YouTube itself. In the article, Roose describes E.T. Williams and other YouTubers as a “conservative shock jocks” who peddle “false stores.” The crux of the piece actually centers around YouTube itself and how they allow people like Williams - and others - to exist. He brings up the issue of YouTube’s algorithim… saying that YouTubers “game” the system by being very quick to upload reactions (what he refers to many times as “conspiracy theories”), before “reputable news sources” do. MSNBC and New York Times represent the old media. So it seems natural that Kevin Roose goes on national TV with Chris Hayes to discuss the article. Many inflammatory terms were used. The aforementioned “shock jock” … “misinformation” … “false speculation” (a term that doesn’t make any sense) and much more. Roose did speak to Williams on the phone before he penned his hit piece… but he did not have him on the MSNBC show alongside him and Chris Hayes to really talk about the issues. The worst part about it all is that it seemed like Roose got a feeling of joy about feeling responsible for E.T. Williams’ channel taken down. Sounds like hate and sure looks like it.
